Refund Policy

South African Hunter Field Target Association

The South African Hunter Field Target Association ("SAHFTA", "we", "us") is committed to fair and transparent dealing with all members and participants. This Refund Policy sets out the circumstances under which refunds may be granted for payments made through this website, including membership fees and event registration fees.

1. Membership Fees

Membership fees are payable annually and grant access to SAHFTA membership benefits for the relevant membership period. Membership fees are generally non-refundable once the membership has been activated, as access to member benefits is made available immediately.

If a payment is made in error, in duplicate, or for an incorrect amount, please contact us within 14 (fourteen) days of the transaction so that the matter can be reviewed and, where appropriate, refunded.

2. Event Registration Fees

Where an event is cancelled by SAHFTA or the hosting club, registered participants will be entitled to a full refund of any event registration fees paid, or the option to transfer the registration to a future event.

If a participant is unable to attend an event for which they have registered, a refund request must be submitted in writing to SAHFTA no later than 7 (seven) days before the event date. Refund requests received within 7 (seven) days of the event may not be granted, as costs may already have been committed on the participant's behalf.

3. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact us using the details below and include the following information:

  • Your full name and SAHFTA member number (if applicable);
  • The date and amount of the payment;
  • Proof of payment or the transaction reference; and
  • The reason for the refund request.

4. Processing of Refunds

Approved refunds will be processed using the original method of payment within 30 (thirty) days of the refund being approved. Refunds may take additional time to reflect depending on your bank or card provider.
